San Luis Obispo Newborn Photographer, A calm studio experience in Los Osos, California.
This session with little Milo was so sweet. He was less than 6 pounds and just an adorable little guy. These clients chose my photography collection that includes family portraits. We did photos with his parents first and then photos of just him. Here’s a little about what you can look forward to during a newborn session.
WHAT TO EXPECT
Your family can simply focus on adjusting to this new phase of life and let me handle all the small details for making your photographs feel timeless and unique. My studio is kept warm, cozy and clean, filled with sweet props and special elements to include in your photos.
A RELAXED FLOW
Your little one is adjusting to the outside world, and your session is completely crafted with that in mind. We schedule three hours so we can absolutely take the time for feedings, diaper changes and snuggles whenever they’re needed!
It takes time to get into a rhythm with your new little one, and I understand that predicting when naptime will happen is generally difficult. If possible, it is ideal to have the baby fed and changed before the session.
TIME
Once your little one arrives, send me a quick email! I can work closely with you or a family member to make final adjustments to our scheduling, as needed.
I recommend that we schedule your session within the first 14 days. This will ensure that your little one is still sleepy and used to those darling, curled up positions they loved in the womb! Because this may be one of your first postpartum outings, the entire session will be relaxed and focused around the comfort of everyone involved.
If possible, try not to schedule your newborn session for the day of or the day after their vaccinations.
