We photographed Sierra and Jacob’s Engagement photos at the Los Osos Oaks Reserve and Montana De Oro in Los Osos, California.
The weather was perfect this day. The Oaks preserve was beautiful and sunny and Montana De Oro had a slight fog hovering high above. This time of year is beautiful at both locations. They were both so green and lush and we even had some little wildflowers pop in a few photos.
I absolutely love this combination of locations. It gives you a wide variety of backdrops while still being fairly close to one another.
While open spaces like fields and beaches look best within an hour of sunset, the Oaks Reserve actually looks best about 1.5- 2 hours before sunset. The trees provide some beautiful shade while also allowing the sunlight to peak through in the photos.
This unique timing for the best lighting in the Oaks Reserve, makes it the perfect first stop for a photo session in the Los Osos Area.
We started the session at the Oaks Reserve in Los Osos and ended it at the Montana De Oro Bluff Trail.
Sierra and Jacob are getting married this weekend at the Casitas Estate in Arroyo Grande, and I’m so excited to photograph their wedding! I wanted to share some of my favorite images from the session.
